Getting to The Starting Line
To get from the Pullman Quay Grand (Circular Quay) to the Sydney Marathon start line at Miller Street, North Sydney, the best and fastest route is to take a direct train across the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
- Walk to Circular Quay Station: (approx. 300 meters, 3-4 minutes) from your hotel.
- Take the Train: Board a North Shore Line train (T1 line) to North Sydney Station.
- Walk to the Start: From North Sydney Station, it is a short walk to the start assembly area on Miller Street.
Alternatively, you can catch the Sydney Metro from Central or Martin Place if your assigned assembly group uses the Victoria Cross or Crows Nest stations. Your race bib typically includes integrated tickets, allowing you to ride public transport for free on race day.
